TCM MOBILE Licenses its Technology for Cellular VoIP Network Deployment in India

TCM MOBILE, LLC, a U.S. based technology company located at The Tech Garden, has developed a revolutionary, patented Cellular VoIP technology delivering all forms of mobile telecommunication services such as Voice, Data, Video and Location-Based Advertising (“Pop Up” format) and pinpoint location functionality, via one mobile device. The company has entered into a definitive agreement to license its patent telecommunication technology to an Indian Joint Venture planning to launch the world’s first commercial Cellular VoIP operating network in India. The commercial launch will begin in Delhi with a project target of 500,000 subscribers with capacity to expand into millions of subscribers in other cities.

Green Cleaning Store Opens for Business

AT2A, LLC President Richard Kampas and his son, Zachary, have opened the new Green Cleaning Store at 222 Teall Ave. Vital Oxide is the featured product, an EPA approved hospital grade disinfectant that safely kills all virus, bacteria, mold and mildew, including the H1N1 virus. The store also sells one and three gallon commercial static sprayers, from locally owned DePositron Systems, that are used for large scale disinfecting. John Liddy Becomes Syracuse Sandbox Entrepreneur-In-Residence

The Syracuse Student Sandbox has been extended to 2010. John Liddy, who served as head coach for this past summer’s program, will expand his role in 2010 as the Syracuse Student Sandbox Entrepreneur-in-Residence. The EIR role includes providing support for the expanded group of schools who will be participating, as well as oversight of the 12 week summer program. The Sandbox provides an experiential environment with access to professional resources, investors, business mentoring, legal advice, technical and subject matter support. The Sandbox is a collaboration between The Tech Garden, The Upstate Central New York business community, and the Kauffman Foundation Enitiative.

The Clean Tech Center Releases Resource Guide

Clean Tech CenterThe Clean Tech Center has released a comprehensive clean tech resource guide -- an inventory of assets to grow the energy economy and advance sustainability in Central Upstate New York. The directory includes energy and environmental programs at regional colleges and universities. It also includes an inventory of grants and funding programs, support organizations and other resources in a searchable, downloadable, hyperlinked document that is easy to navigate. The resource guide was developed by Emily Weldon, program manager of The Clean Tech Center.
