Training and Education Committee

Attend this meeting to assist in planning training seminars for member businesses and their employees. Your ideas about presenters and how to give topics of pressing interest, at a reasonable cost, in formats that make sense for all businesses are welcome. Chamber Events Committee - MEMBERS NEEDED

Government Modernization Task Force
Thursday, November 12, 8:00 a.m. - Chamber Headquarters
Member volunteers study, develop and support ways for local governments in Central New York to become more efficient. Meetings are generally the second Thursday of each month. Call Deb Warner at 470-1845 for additional information.

Government Relations Committee - No November Meeting
Friday, December 11, 8:00 a.m. - Chamber Headquarters
This is the lobbying arm of the Chamber. Members meet with elected officials and policy makers, explore issues, formulate positions, lead lobbying efforts and sponsor events such as the annual Issues Conference. Call Deb Warner at 470-1845 for additional information.

Executive Dialogue
Groups of non-competing business owners/managers meet monthly for candid peer discussions and assistance. Each group acts as board and consultant for its members on a variety of topics. Call Sharon Grabosky at 470-1870 for more information.
