Community Dining Syracuse
The Greater Syracuse Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with AARP,
Leadership Greater Syracuse and 100 Black Men, has
been hosting community dining events at local restaurants
for the past couple of months. Community Dining Syracuse
gives solo diners a chance to sit with other people,
therefore allowing individuals to meet new people
in the community. Marilyn Pinsky, the state president
for AARP and the former commissioner of Onondaga County’s Department of
Aging and Youth, said, “With Community Dining Syracuse, there is an opportunity
for interesting conversation, a good meal, and no commitment to ever see
one another again. As new restaurants are added, the crowd will continually
change.” To learn more about Community Dining please contact Carol Hill
